Founded in 1972 by John, a visionary entrepreneur who started the business by purchasing a furniture distribution route. Traveling up and down the coast of Florida, he introduced gold anodized furniture to local stores and condominiums. John's dedication and passion for the industry laid the foundation for its success.

John involved his family from the very beginning and his sons grew up immersed in the business. From early childhood memories of weaving straps onto furniture at less than 10 years old, to working in the back room as teenagers, they have experienced the growth and evolution of Sunniland Patio firsthand.
